The restaurant industry in Russia and China: development process characteristics

Abstract

Ресторанная индустрия является важной составной частью развития государства, так как она непосредственно относится к туристской инфраструктуре и, следовательно, напрямую влияет на рост внутреннего и въездного туристского потока. Современный рынок ресторанного бизнеса в России и Китае процветает. В каждой стране ресторанная индустрия имеет свои особенности. Индустрия общественного питания в Китае ежегодно развивается. Что касается России, то в ее ресторанном мире сегодня идет расслоение. Сравнение ресторанной индустрии России и Китая позволит выделить особенности ее развития в двух крупнейших государствах мира и понять причины их траектории развития. Однако на сегодняшний день исследования, посвященные рассматриваемой теме, отсутствуют.

The restaurant industry is an important part of the development of the state, as it directly relates to the tourist infrastructure and, therefore, directly affects the growth of domestic and incoming tourist flow. The modern market of restaurant business in Russia and China is booming. In each country, the restaurant industry has its own characteristics. The catering industry in China is developing annually. As for Russia, in its restaurant world today there is a stratification. A comparison of the restaurant industry of Russia and China will make it possible to single out the peculiarities of its development in the two largest countries of the world and to understand the reasons for their development trajectory. However, to date there are no studies on the subject in question.
