Cohabitation as an alternative form of marital choice in modern society

Abstract

В настоящее время наблюдаются изменения в сфере семейно-брачных от-ношений, происходит трансформация института семьи и брака, переход от «традиционного» типа к «современному», который сопровождается также ростом альтернативных форм семейно-брачных отношений, в число которых входит и сожительство. Незарегистрированные союзы становятся все более популярной формой семейно-брачных отношений в России.Актуальность данного исследования обуславливается сложившимся в настоящее время отношением в обществе к незарегистрированному браку . Более того, вступление в брак во многом определяет наличие и реализацию репродуктивных установок, влияет на социализацию последующих поколений. Цель данного исследования: понять станет ли сожительство (незарегистрированный брак) альтернативой официальному браку.Объектом настоящего исследования является сожительство ( незарегистрированный брак) как социальный феномен. Предметом является отношение современного общества к сожительству как к социальному феномену и выявление обусловленности брачно-семейных отношений современного российского общества.

At present, there are changes in the sphere of family and marriage relations, the transformation of the institution of family and marriage, the transition from the "traditional" type to the "modern", which is also accompanied by the growth of alternative forms of family and marriage relations, which include cohabitation. Unregistered unions are becoming an increasingly popular form of family and marriage relations in Russia. The relevance of this study is determined by the current attitude in society towards unregistered marriage. Moreover, marriage determines in many respects the existence and realization of reproductive attitudes, and affects the socialization of subsequent generations. The purpose of this study is to understand whether cohabitation (unregistered marriage) will become an alternative to formal marriage. The object of this research is cohabitation (unregistered marriage) as a social phenomenon. The subject is the attitude of modern society to cohabitation as a social phenomenon and the identification of the conditionality of marriage and family relations of modern Russian society.
