Аннотация к дипломной работе на тему «Социально-экономическая и политическая жизнь Азербайджана в последней четверти XIX – начале ХХ вв. (по материалам прессы)» студента Восточного факультета СПбГУ Гасанова Эльдара Вагифовича В данной дипломной работе исследована политическая и социально-экономическая жизнь Азербайджана в последней четверти XIX – начале ХХ вв. по материалам издаваемых в тот период газет. В ходе исследования были выявлены общие темы, которые больше всего волновали народ, и проведен сравнительный анализ по нескольким из них. Основными проблемами того времени являлась массовая безграмотность населения, отсутствие единого литературного языка, непонимание людей, кем они являются на самом деле. Об этих проблемах повествуют публицисты на страницах газет, призывая простой народ получать образование, развиваться и двигаться вперед. Помимо этого, публицисты рассказывают о развитии экономики, в том числе нефтяной промышленности, земледелия, шелководства. Бакинская нефть еще в конце XIX – начале ХХ вв. играла немаловажную роль в экономике страны и принесла огромную прибыль Российской империи. Структура работы представлена введением, тремя главами,13 параграфами, заключением и списком использованных источников и литературы. В дипломной работе использовано 8 таблиц, 38 источников литературы. Общее количество страниц дипломной работы – 102.

Annotation To thesis work on theme «Press coverage of socio-economic and political issues in Azerbaijan: Last quarter of the 19th - early 20th centuries (based on press materials)» made by student of St. Petersburg State University’s Eastern Faculty, Eldar Vagifovich Gasanov In this thesis, the political and socio-economic issues of Azerbaijan in the last quarter of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries was studied based on the materials of the newspapers that were published at that time. The study identified common themes which most of all worried people, and for several of them a comparative analysis was carried out. The main problems of that time were mass illiteracy of the population, lack of a single literary language, people's misunderstanding of who they really were. About these problems publicists narrate on the pages of newspapers, urging the ordinary people to get education, to develop and to move forward. In addition, the publicists tell about economic development, including the oil industry, agriculture, sericulture. Baku oil still played in the late XIX - early XX centuries an important role in the country’s economy and brought a huge profit to the Russian Empire. The structure of the work is represented by an introduction, three chapters, 13 paragraphs, a conclusion and a list of sources and literature used. In the thesis, 8 tables and 38 literary sources were used. The total number of thesis’s pages is 102.
