Interaction between permafrost soils and engineering constructions in maajor river valleys of Yamal: A case study of the Yuribey river

Abstract

Взаимодействие многолетнемерзлых горных пород с инженерными сооружениями в долинах крупных рек является одной из главных проблем инженерно-геокриологического прогноза. Тепловое взаимодействие дорожных насыпей и трубопроводов, выбор метода строительства гражданских сооружений в зависимости от ожидаемых осадок при оттаивании многолетнемерзлых пород, устойчивость фундаментов - таковы основные задачи настоящей работы. Ее цель - представить возможные последствия возведения этих и им подобных сооружений и предупредить некоторые нежелательные последствия техногенного воздействия на многолетнемерзлые породы.

Interaction of permafrost rocks with engineering facilities in the valleys of major rivers is one of the main problems of engineering - geocryological forecast. Thermal interaction of road embankments and pipelines, the choice of the method of construction of civil structures, depending on expected precipitation during thawing of permafrost rocks, stability of foundations - there are the main tasks of present work. Its purpose is to present the possible consequences of erecting these and similar constructions and to prevent some undesirable consequences technogenic impact on permafrost rocks.
