Moses ibn Ezra's (1058-1138) manuscripts in Russian collections and their role for studying poetry of the Golden Age

Abstract

Целью работы является выявление значения рукописей еврейского поэта и философа Моше Ибн Эзры (1058-1138), хранящихся в к крупнейших российских собраниях, для изучения поэзии «Золотого века» евреев в мусульманской Испании (X-XII вв.). Теоретическая значимость работы заключается в представлении биографии и основных этапов творчества Моше Ибн Эзры, а также в описании истории формирования крупнейших российских рукописных коллекций, в которых хранятся его. К практическим результатам проведенной работы относятся составление списка всех рукописей сочинений Моше Ибн Эзры в отечественных собраниях и текстологический анализ одного из разделов поэмы «Книга ожерелья» в двух изданиях поэмы и рукописи из собрания Российской национальной библиотеки (Евр. II А 96) с последующими выводами относительно текстовых их различий, качества сохранности и т.д.

The main goal of this thesis is to identify the impact of manuscripts of the Jewish poet and philosopher Moses Ibn Ezra (1058-1138), stored in the largest Russian manuscript collections, to the studies of the poetry of the Golden age of Jewish culture in Spain in X-XII centuries. The theoretical significance of the work is based on the presentation of the biography and the main highlights of Moses Ibn Ezra's poetry, as well as the description of the formation stages of the largest Russian manuscript collections they are stored in. The practical results of this work include the list of all manuscripts of Moses Ibn Ezra in Russian collections and a textual analysis of one of the sections of the poem «Sefer ha-Anak» («The book of the necklace») from two editions of the poem and the manuscript from the collection of the Russian national library (Evr. II A 96) with subsequent conclusions on textual differences, quality of preservation, etc.
