Comparative Analysis of Methods of Presentation of China’s Historic and Artistic Heritage by the Examples of the State Hermitage and the State Museum of the History of Religion

Abstract

На сегодняшний день вопросы презентации культур Востока в музейных пространствах остаются крайне актуальными. Данная выпускная квалификационная работа ставит целью выявление и сопоставление ключевых методов презентации историко-художественного наследия Китая в таких музеях, как Государственный музей истории религии и Государственный Эрмитаж. В результате проведенного исследования производится оценка эффективности данных методов с точки зрения духовно-эстетического и целостного представления особенностей китайской культуры. Также даются краткие методические рекомендации для экспонирования определенных предметов искусства Китая. Выпускная квалификационная работа структурно состоит из введения, историографического обзора, двух глав, заключения, списка литературы и приложений. Общее количество страниц 73, в работе использовалось 53 источника, включая на иностранном языке.

Today, the issues of presentation of Oriental cultures in Museum spaces remain extremely relevant. This thesis aims to identify and compare the key methods of presentation of the historical and artistic heritage of China in museums such as the state Museum of the history of religion and the State Hermitage Museum. As a result of the study, the effectiveness of these methods is evaluated from the point of view of spiritual, aesthetic and holistic representation of the features of Chinese culture. Also one of the results of this research has led to creating a brief guideline for exhibiting certain works of Chinese art in museum spaces. This thesis structurally consists of an introduction, a historiographical review, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and additional material. The total number of pages is 73, 53 sources were used in this work, including those in foreign language.
