A comparative study of world politics in the Arctic and the Antarctic regions

Abstract

В данной работе автор ставит перед собой цель провести сравнительный анализ мировой политики, проводимой её акторами в Арктическом и Антарктическом регионе. В ходе исследования выявляются характерные особенности современной политической, правовой и экономической ситуации в регионах. Анализируются взаимоотношения государств, международных организаций, а так же прогнозируются возможные перспективы. Выводом автора, является констатация различия путей освоения и развития Арктического и Антарктического региона, при общей направленности вектора современных взглядов на перспективы регионов.

In this paper, the author sets a goal to carry out a comparative analysis of world politics conducted by its actors in the Arctic and Antarctic region. The research reveals the characteristic features of the current political, legal and economic situation in the regions. Relations between states and international organizations are analyzed, and possible prospects are also forecasted. The conclusion of the author is the statement of the difference in the ways of development and development of the Arctic and Antarctic region, with the general orientation of the vector of modern views on the prospects of the regions.
