Development of a composition an graphic model of a sports publication for students

Abstract

Разработка композиционно-графической модели спортивного журнала для студентов на тему академической гребли проводится по заказу руководства Некоммерческой организации Ассоциация «Студенческая гребная лига» (СГЛ), что доказывает актуальность работы. Данная тема является довольно узкой. Но значительную степень научной проработанности имеет тема композиционно-графической модели журнала, изучавшаяся такими исследователями как А. П. Киселев и Д. Георгиев. В ходе работы используются следующие методы: изучение и обобщение отечественных и зарубежных журналов, соответствующих теме дипломной работы. Изученные издания классифицированы по тематике содержания, произведено сравнение и качественная оценка структуры их визуального оформления. В основу теоретических выводов по вопросам дизайна положен анализ соответствующей научной литературы. Применен метод наблюдения при взаимодействии с СГЛ, проведено экспертное интервью с заказчиком дипломной работы, отражен анализ целевой аудитории посредством социологического опроса. Дизайн-макет издания по академической гребле является результатом синтеза полученных аналитических данных и моделирования на основе этого нового продукта. Объектом в данной работе является визуальная организация студенческих изданий о спорте, а также журналов гребной тематики. Предмет исследования — это разработка композиционно-графической модели журнала по академической гребле для студентов вузов России. Цель выпускной квалификационной работы заключается в разработке композиционно-графической модели спортивного журнала для студентов. Ожидаемым результатом являются: 1) Макет издания, т. н. «пилотный выпуск»; 2) Файл indd с разработанными шаблонами и стилями. В задачи входит: 1) Провести исторический обзор спортивных, студенческих журналов, изданий по гребному спорту и судоходству; 2)Выявить особенности КГМ современных спортивных изданий; 3)Определить тематическую концепцию журнала, составить систему рубрикаций; 4)На основе решенных задач 1), 2) и 3) разработать и обосновать композиционно-графическую модель спортивного издания для студентов. Эмпирическую базу исследования составляют спортивные студенческие издания вузов России и зарубежья, а также журналы гребной и судоходной те­матики. Кроме того, гребной спорт изучался в ходе взаимодействия с представи­телями «Студенческой гребной лиги». Структура работы обусловлена ее целью, предметом и задачами. Она со­стоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка используемой литературы и приложений. Основные результаты исследования: Разработан авторский дизайн-макет журнала, обладающий четкой структурой, отражающий тематику гребного спорта и ориентированный на целевую аудиторию. Исследование показало, что издания о гребном спорте весьма ограничено представлены на рынке журналов. Малое количество изданий подобной тематики свидетельствует, что данная ниша в нашей стране пока что является не заполненной, но перспективной. Опыт создания журнала на тему гребного спорта может быть перенесен на другие виды спорта.

Development of a composition-graphic model of a sports magazine for students on the topic of academic rowing is conducted on the order of the leadership of the Nonprofit organization Association "Student rowing league" (SRL), which proves the urgency of the work. This topic is rather narrow. But a significant degree of scientific elaboration is the theme of the compositional-graphic model of the journal, studied by such researchers as AP Kiselev and D. Georgiev. In the course of the work, the following methods are used: research and synthesis of domestic and foreign journals corresponding to the theme of the thesis. The studied editions are classified according to the subject matter of the content, a comparison and a qualitative assessment of the structure of their visual design are made. The basis of theoretical conclusions on design issues is the analysis of the relevant scientific literature. The method of observation was used in interaction with SRL, an expert interview with the client of the thesis work was carried out, the analysis of the target audience through a sociological survey was reflected. The design layout of the publication on rowing is the result of the synthesis of the obtained analytical data and modeling on the basis of this new product. The object in this work is the visual organization of student publications about sports, as well as magazines of rowing subjects. The subject of the study is the development of the composition and graphic model of the magazine on rowing for students of Russian universities. The goal of the final qualifying work is to develop a composition-graphic model of a sports magazine for students. The expected result is: 1) The layout of the publication, so-called. "Pilot release"; 2) The file indd with the developed templates and styles. The tasks include: 1) Carry out a historical survey of sports, student magazines, editions on rowing and navigation; 2) Identify features of CGM modern sports publications; 3) Define the thematic concept of the journal, make up a system of headings; 4) On the basis of solved problems 1), 2) and 3) to develop and justify a composition-graphic model of a sports publication for students. The empirical base of the research is made up of sports student editions of universities in Russia and abroad, as well as magazines of rowing and shipping subjects. In addition, rowing was studied during the interaction with the representatives of the "Student Rowing League". The structure of the work is determined by its purpose, subject and tasks. It consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of used literature and applications. Main results of the study: The author's design model of the magazine has been developed, which has a clear structure reflecting the theme of rowing and targeting the target audience. The study showed that editions about rowing are very limited in the market of magazines. A small number of editions of this kind show that this niche in our country is not yet filled, but promising. The experience of creating a magazine on the theme of rowing can be transferred to other sports.
