Reception of Anton Chekhov’s dramaturgy in China

Abstract

В данной диссертационной работе представлена рецепция драматургии Чехова в китайской литературе и на сцене в XX и XXI вв., что позволяет более систематично изучить представление китайского народа о чеховских пьесах в разных исторических контекстах.В центре внимания рассматриваются следующие вопросы: как китайские литературоведы и критики интерпретировали драматургию Чехова, какие влияния оказали чеховские пьесы на творчество китайских драматургов, каким образом китайские режиссеры воплощали чеховские произведения. В приложении настоящей работы также представлены фотографии постановок чеховских пьес, которые демонстрируют искусство сценического, режиссерского и актерского.

In this thesis, the reception of Chekhov's dramaturgy in Chinese literature and on the stage in the 20th and 21st centuries is presented, which makes it possible to more systematically study the representation of the Chinese people about Chekhov's plays in different historical contexts.The focus is on the next points: how Chinese literary critics and critics interpreted Chekhov's dramaturgy, how Chekhov's plays influence on the work of Chinese playwrights, and how the Chinese directors embodied Chekhov's works. In the appendix of this work are also presented photographs of the performances of Chekhov's plays, which demonstrate the art of stage, director and actor.
