Issues of the French modern military strategy in regards to the war on terrorrism

Abstract

В ходе нашего исследования о проблемах борьбы с терроризмом в современной военной стратегии Франции; цель которого, состоял в том, чтобы понять, в какой степени и как опыт борьбы с терроризмом вляиет на современную военную стратегию Франции, было продемонстрировано что террористическая угроза в разные периоды времени оказывала дифференцированное влияние на стратегию Франции. В настоящий период, борьба с терроризмом не является основополагающей причиной всех производимиых изменений в военной стретегии Франции, но в тоже время, этот фактор имеет большое значение и её эволюции.

Within the framework of this Master's thesis on the issues of French modern military strategy in regards to terrorism, the purpose was to understand to what extent and how does the experience of the French army in war against terrorism could influence its modern strategy. In this research, we have demonstrated that terrorism at different times has variously impacted the French military strategie. At the present time, strategy against terrorism is not a fundamental cause behind all the changes within teh French army, however, this factor plays a major role in the evolution of this strategy.
