Culture-specific terms as verbal means of expressing national cultural unique features: A case study of S.V. Mikhalkov’s children’s verses

Abstract

Настоящее исследование посвящено анализу национально-культурной специфики реалий на материале стихотворений С.В. Михалкова. Единицы в составе языка его произведений обнаруживают в себе широкий контекст. В нем отражается не только национальная специфика русской лингвокультуры, но и параметры внеязыковой действительности, активирующие фоновую информацию того или иного исторического периода. Тексты, в которых заключаются такие парадигмы реалий, содержат в себе общие представления о картине мира лингвокультурной общности и способствуют пониманию и разграничению культурной специфики родного и изучаемого языка. В связи с приоритетностью изучения лингвострановедческого фона при обучении представляется, что дальнейшая разработка и использование подобных текстов в практике и методике преподавания поможет в процессе овладения лингвокультурологической компетенцией иностранными учащимися уже на начальных этапах обучения.

Current Master’s research is devoted to the analysis on the national and cultural specificity of сulture-specific terms based on material of S. V. Mikhalkov’s poems. Units in the language of his works reveal a wide context. It reflects not only the national features of the Russian language culture but also the parameters of non-linguistic reality, activating background information of a certain historical period. Texts containing such paradigms of сulture-specific terms, have a general idea of the of linguistic and cultural community and contribute to understanding and differentiation of the cultural specificity of native and foreign languages. In connection with the priority of studying linguistic and cultural background in education it appears that the further development and usage of such texts in practice and teaching methods will help in the process of mastering the language and cultural competence of foreign students on the early stages of education.
