Forms of Interaction of an Internet Visitor and Virtual Museum

Abstract

Диссертация посвящена анализу коммуникативного взаимодействия интернет-посетителя с виртуальным музеем. В выпускной работе рассмотрены предпосылки появления и история виртуального музея, предпринята попытка обозначить границы термина «виртуальный музей», оценена роль виртуального музея в культуре, проведено сравнение различных подходов к его типологии. Такая основа позволяет определить специфику интернет-аудитории виртуального музея, выявить новые формы взаимодействия посетителя и музея в Интернет-пространстве, наметить проблемы и перспективы ширящегося и отвечающего актуальному запросу внедрения виртуальности в музейную деятельность.

The research is devoted to interaction between digital audience and a virtual museum. The author aimed to consider the origins of the “virtual museum”'s phenomena and establish its history, tried to define it, evaluated its role in the culture. A comparative analysis of virtual museums’ types was also carried out. Basing on these approaches the author tried to identify the specificity of the digital museum's audience and new forms of interaction between visitors and museums on the Internet. The research also deals with problems and prospects of new technologies’ adaptation in museum activities.
