Sociology and economy of a hobby: A case study of a dancing community

Abstract

Тема данной магистерской диссертации: «Социология и экономика хобби (на примере танцевального сообщества)». Целью данного исследования является проверка гипотезы о том, что с течением времени хобби превращается в способ зарабатывания денег, то есть хобби из сферы досуга переходит в сферу труда. К задачам, в свою очередь, относятся следующие пункты: - Рассмотреть историю возникновения социологии досуга; - Определить модели досуговой деятельности; - Рассмотреть типологию досуговой деятельности; - Изучить хобби как форму проведения досуга; - Рассмотреть истоки и виды танца; - Изучить рынок танцевальных услуг. Объектом исследования является хобби как форма проведения досуга. Предметом, в свою очередь, являться процесс перехода хобби в способ зарабатывания денег, то есть то как хобби из сферы досуга переходит в сферу труда. Объем работы составляет 83 страницы. Работа состоит из введения, трех глав, заключения, списка использованных источников и приложений. Во введении обосновывается актуальность выбранной темы, формулируются гипотеза исследования, цель и задачи исследования, указывается объект и предмет исследования, а также его методологические основания. В первой главе представлены теоретические аспекты изучения хобби, в частности, история возникновения социологии досуга, модели досуговой деятельности, типология досуговой деятельности, а также хобби как форма проведения досуга. Во второй главе рассматриваются теоретические аспекты изучения танцевальной сферы в экономической социологии, а именно, истоки танца, виды танца, а также рынок танцевальных услуг. В третьей главе представлено практическое исследование и его результаты. Заключение содержит основные выводы дипломной работы. В конце работы представлен список использованной литературы, состоящий из 55 источников, и 4 приложения.

The theme of this master's thesis is "Sociology and economy of hobbies (on the example of the dance community)". The purpose of this study is to check the hypothesis that over time hobbies can turn into a way of making money, that hobby can transform from the sphere of leisure passes into the sphere of work. The objectives of the work are: - To consider the history of the emergence of the sociology of leisure; - To identify models of leisure activities; - To consider the typology of leisure activities; - To study the hobby as a form of leisure; - To consider the origins and types of dance; - To study the market of dance services. The object of the study is hobby as a form of leisure. The subject of the study is the process of transformation of a hobby to a way of earning money, in other words, how hobbies transform from the sphere of leisure passes into the sphere of work. The work consists of 83 pages. It includes the introduction, three chapters, the conclusion, the list of used sources and the applications. The relevance of the chosen theme is substantiated in the introduction of the work. Besides, the goal and the objectives, the object and the subject of the research and its methodological grounds are stated there. The first chapter presents the theoretical aspects of hobby studies, in particular, the history of the emergence of leisure sociology, the leisure activity model, the typology of leisure activities, and hobbies as a form of leisure. The aim of the second chapter is to describe the theoretical aspects of studying the dance sphere in economic sociology, the origins of dance, the types of dance, and the dance services market. The third chapter contains the practical research, its main findings and results. The conclusion consists of the main findings of the thesis. There is the list of used sources which consists of 55 sources and 4 applications which can be found at the end of the work.
