The artistic and cultural value of names and addressing forms in the story "Heart of a dog" and adequary of their translation into Chinese

Abstract

Имена собственные обладают художественной и культурно-исторической ценностью: они выполняют в художественном тексте важные идейно-художественные функции, раскрывают авторское мировидение, участвуют в показе действительности, принадлежащей определенной эпохе. В повести «Собачье сердце» М. Булгакова в качестве наиболее важных выступают антропонимы Шариков, Швондер, Преображенский, урбанонимы (наименования улиц, городских учреждении) и т.д. Нас интересуют те из них, что имеют выраженную этномаркированную окраску и выполняют ассоциативно-символическую функцию, отражают авторское намерение. Особое внимание уделяется именам персонажей и названиям улиц и решаемым с их помощью задачам. Помимо своей основной функции, собственные имена в повести участвуют в решении задач прагматического характера: они служат для читателя источником информации о видении автором своих героев – это, в частности, касается как внутренней формы фамилий Преображенского и Шарикова, так и звуковых ассоциаций, вызываемых фамилией Швондер. С другой стороны, онимы содержат культурно-фоновую информацию, не всегда прозрачную для представителей иной культуры. Выявление роли имен собственных осуществляется на фоне их соответствий в тексте перевода на китайский язык. Это позволяет увидеть, что в переводе повести на другой язык функции имен собственных не всегда очевидны для читателя, а авторские намерения порой размываются. В работе также анализируется система форм обращения, сложившаяся после Октябрьской революции и отраженная в повести «Собачье сердце». Изучение форм обращения в речи персонажей повести – адресатов и адресантов – дает возможность увидеть особый авторский прием их характеристики: за счет манеры говорить и культуры речи в целом. Употребление форм обращения со словами товарищ и гражданин и реакции на данные формы обращения отражают политическое положение коммуникантов. Отказ представителей новой власти от форм обращения господин и милостивый государь и отказ профессора Преображенского от обращения товарищ отражают социально-политический конфликт между ними.

Names have an artistic and cultural-historical value: they carry out important artistic and ideological functions in the artistic text, eveal author's worldview, participate in the display of reality belonging to a certain epoch. In the fiction "Heart of a Dog" by M. Bulgakov, the most important are the anthroponyms Sharikov, Shvonder, Preobrazhensky, urbanonyms (names of streets, city institutions), etc. We are interested in those of them that have a pronounced ethnomarked coloring and perform an associative-symbolic function, reflect the author's intention. Particular attention is paid to the names of the characters and street names and the tasks to be solved with their help. In addition to its basic function, proper names in the story are involved in solving pragmatic problems: they serve as a source of information for the reader about the author's vision of his characters - this, in particular, concerns both the internal form of the names of Preobrazhensky and Sharikov, and the sound associations called by the name Shvonder . On the other hand, onima contain cultural and background information that is not always transparent to representatives of another culture. Identifying the role of proper names is carried out against the background of their correspondences in the text of the translation into Chinese, which makes it possible to see that in translating a story into another language, the functions of proper names are not always obvious to the reader, and sometimes the author's intentions are blurred. The thesis also analyzes the emerging information forms of the address after the October revolution of the story "heart of a Dog". Accessed forms of treatment in the speech of the main characters of the novel, gives the opportunity to understand the features of the characters and even features of the era, shown by the author. The use of the address's form with the words comrade and citizen, and reactions to these forms of address reflect the political position of senders and recipients. The refusal of the representatives of the new government from the forms of address Mr. and your Majesty, and the failure of Professor Preobrazhensky from address's form of comrade reflect the conflict between them – social conflict.
