China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative in the context of Russia's interests

Abstract

Магистерская диссертация посвящена всестороннему изучению китайской концепции «Один пояс – один путь» в контексте интересов Российской Федерации. В фокусе работы находится выявление содержания китайской концепции «Один пояс – один путь», а также выявление перспектив и проблем сотрудничества между Россией и Китаем в ходе реализации китайской инициативы «Один пояс – один путь». В связи с этим, в работе анализируются основные содержания, мотивация, специфика концепции «Один пояс – один путь», определяется место России в китайской инициативе, выявляются возможности и значение сопряжения китайской инициативы и Евразийского экономического союза, характеризируются российские подходы к инициативе «Один пояс – один путь» в контексте интересов РФ, также анализируются практические шаги и проблемы китайско-российского сотрудничества в ходе реализации инициативы «Один пояс – один путь». На основе проведенного исследования делается вывод о перспективе взаимовыгодного сотрудничества РФ и КНР в рамках инициативы «Один пояс – один путь».

The master's thesis is devoted to research about the China’s Initiative “The Belt and Road” in the context of the Russia’s interests. It is mainly focused on analyzing content of the Initiative “The Belt and Road” and identifying prospects and problems of cooperation between Russia and China in the course of implementation of the Initiative “The Belt and Road”. This thesis analyzes the background, motivation and content of "The Belt and Road" Initiative which is put forward by China. It illustrates the significance of Russia in the "The Belt and Road" Initiative, analyzes the opportunities and the importance of the conjunction between the Eurasian Economic Union and "The Belt and Road" Initiative. At the same time, it summarizes how Russia cognize and evaluate "The Belt and Road" Initiative. Moreover, it discusses the present situation and the difficulties of Sino-Russian cooperation when promoting the Initiative. Based on the analysis above, the thesis made the conclusion about prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and China in the course of implementation of the Initiative “The Belt and Road”.
