Seismic stratigraphy of the Eurasian Basin of the Arctic Ocean

Abstract

Целью исследования является сейсмостратиграфический анализ осадочного чехла Евразийского бассейна и реконструкция обстановок глубоководного осадконакопления. Объектом изучения является Евразийский бассейн, расположенный в Северном Ледовитом океане. Для достижения указанной цели необходимо решение следующих задач: 1) Выделение региональных сейсмических горизонтов, обоснование их возрастов; 2) Выполнение сейсмофациального анализа осадочного чехла и выделение сейсмических фаций; 3) Составление схем мощности сейсмических комплексов (толщ) и оценка темпов осадконакопления в депоцентрах; 4) Выявление обстановок осадконакопления. Представленная работа состоит из введения, шести глав, заключения и списка использованной литературы. Общий объем работы составил 47 страниц, включая рисунки и таблицы.

The purpose of the study is seismostratigraphic analysis of the sedimentary cover of the Eurasian basin and reconstruction of the deep-sea sedimentation environments. The object of study is the Eurasian basin, located in the Arctic Ocean. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: 1) Allocation of regional seismic horizons and justification of their age; 2) Implementation of the seismofacial analysis of a sedimentary cover and allocation of seismic facies; 3) Composition the schemes of thickness of individual seismic complexes and the assessment of the rate of sedimentation in depocentres; 4) Identification of sedimentary situation. The presented work consists of an introduction, six chapters, conclusion and list of used literature. The total amount of work was 47 pages, including figures and tables.
