The effectiveness of academic mobility in a country's image development: Case study of Russia–Germany cooperation

Abstract

В данной магистерской диссертации рассмотрено влияние академической мобильности на формирование образа государства. В рамках исследования выявлена организационная связь между академической мобильностью и образом государства; охарактеризована деятельность организаций, осуществляющих деятельность в сфере академической мобильности между Россией и Германией. В результате проведенного полевого исследования определена взаимосвязь между программами академической мобильности и формированием образа государства на основании опыта и мнений участников программ обмена, реализуемых Россией и Германией.

In the master thesis author studies influence of the academic mobility on the process of country's image formation. Author also finds connection between academic mobility and image of the state; characterizes activity of the organizations that provide academic mobility programs between Russia and Germany. Field study allows to draw the line between academic mobility programs and the process of country's image formation, based on the experience and opinion of such programs' participants.
