Japan's policy towards Russia in the context of their territorial dispute

Abstract

Дипломная работа посвящена актуальной теме влияния территориального спора на политику Японии в отношении России и охватывают период с 1951 г. по настоящее время. Работа включает анализ истории территориального вопроса, его места во внешней политике Японии и роли экономического и культурного сотрудничества в японо-российских отношениях. Цель исследования – определить основные направления политики Японии в отношении России и влияние на них территориального спора. В первой главе рассмотрена эволюция японо-российских отношений в контексте проблемы спора вокруг Южных Курил. Во второй главе дана характеристика по общим направлениям внешней политики Японии в отношении России, рассмотрена деятельность государственных органов Японии и деятельность японских НПО по возвращению «северных территорий». Третья глава посвящена анализу сотрудничества Японии и России на современном этапе, проанализирована экономическая и культурная политика Японии, а также перспективы ее развития. В заключении подведены итоги исследования и сделаны выводы по данной работе. Дипломная работа состоит из введения,трех глав, заключения, списка использованных источников и литературы. Объем работы - 68 страниц. При написани работы были использованы нормативно-правовые акты, монографии, научные статьи, сообщения в СМИ - всего 113 пунктов.

The subject of this graduate work is the influence of the territorial dispute on the Japan’s policy towards Russia in the period since 1951 to the present time. The work includes the analysis of the history of the territorial issue, its place in Japan's foreign policy and the role of economic and cultural cooperation in Japanese-Russian relations. The objective of this research is to consider the main directions of Japan's policy towards Russia and the impact on them of a territorial dispute. In the first chapter the evolution of Japanese-Russian relations in the context of the dispute over the Southern Kuriles is analyzed. In the second chapter general directions of Japan's foreign policy towards Russia are characterized as well as the activities of Japanese state agencies and the activities of Japanese NGOs on the return of «northern territories» are analyzed. In the third chapter еру сooperation between Japan and Russia at the present stage is analyzed. Economic and cultural policy of Japan and also the prospects are analyzed. In the conclusion the results of the research are summed up and conclusions are drawn. The graduate work consists of introduction, three chapters, the conclusion and the list of the used sources and literature. The amount of work is 68 pages. In this work were used normative legal acts, monographs, scientific articles, and media reports were used - just 113 points.
