The influence of the European Union’s experience on the formation of ecological diplomacy

Abstract

Тема выпускной квалификационной работы - Опыт Европейского союза в формировании основ экологической дипломатии. Актуальность работы определяется нерешенностью глобальных экологических проблем, повышением интереса мирового сообщества к проблемам окружающей среды, а также широким применением инструментов экологической дипломатии ведущими мировыми державами. Цель данной работы состоит в определении уровня развития экологической политики Европейского союза и оценке его вклада в формирование института экологической дипломатии. Данная выпускная квалификационная работа состоит из 67 страниц и включает в себя введение, 2 главы, заключение и список использованных источников и литературы. Во введении обоснована актуальность темы исследования, а также сформулирована цель и поставлены задачи. Более того, определены методы исследования, его новизна, а также практическая и теоретическая значимость. Первая глава посвящена теоретическим основам экологической дипломатии. Во второй главе анализируется вклад Европейского союза в формирование основ экологической дипломатии в целом, а также Северо-Запада и Юга ЕС в частности. Заключение содержит основные выводы и предложения по улучшению эффективности экологической дипломатии.

The topic of the final qualifying work - Influence of the European Union's experience on the formation of the ecological diplomacy. The relevance of the paper is determined by unresolved global ecological problems, the increasing interest of the world community in environmental issues and widespread use of ecological diplomacy's instuments by the leading world powers. The aim of the paper is to determine the development level of the European Union's ecological policy and to estimate its contribution to the formation of the ecological diplomacy. The final qualifying work consists of 67 pages and includes the introduction, two chapters, the conclusion and the list of the used sources and literature. In the introduction the relevance of the research topic is defined, the aim is stated and the tasks are set. Moreover, the research methods are determined as well as its originality, theoretical and practical value. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical basis of ecological diplomacy. In the second chapter the contribution to the formation of the ecological diplomacy's basis of the European Union as a whole as well as its Northwest and South are analyzed. The conclusion contains the main findings and suggestions for an efficiency improvement of the ecological diplomacy.
