| ru_RU |
dc.description.abstract | In this graduate work documentary cinema will be considered from the point of view of its use as a means of propaganda and weapon in the information war, as well as the possibility of the existance of such documentary films as an independent aesthetic phenomenon. During the research analysis of documentary films of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union from the time of Second World War will be held and the view of the world represented in them and the means through which its structure is achieved will be studied. Documentaries will be considered as a means of communication and immersion of the audience in a special constructed reality, and the methods and reasons forcing viewers to take it for the objective will be explored. The focus will be on the image of the enemy and the image of the hero as images having partilular importance in the context of a bipolar world of military propaganda film. The work consists of introduction, two chapters and conclusion. The first chapter will be devoted to the theoretical foundations and the principles of propaganda and the specificity of cinema as a means of propaganda; the basic rules and techniques for the construction of a propagandistic documentary film will be described. In the second chapter analysis of documentary films both from the side of the Soviet Union and from Germany as the two opposing sides with diametrically different purposes of propaganda will be held to explore how theoretical construcrs applies in practice and to identify their characteristics. | en_GB |
