The Somalia conflict and the role of external factors in its settlement

Abstract

Исследовательская работа посвящена сомалийскому конфликту и роли внешних акторов в его урегулировании. Целью исследования является определение роли внешних факторов в урегулировании сомалийского конфликта. Объект исследования: деятельность внешних акторов в урегулировании сомалийского конфликта. Предмет исследования: определение целей и задач внешних акторов в конфликте, анализ их деятельности. В работе были реализованы следующие задачи: охарактеризовано положение сложившееся в стране к 2015 году; рассмотрена деятельность соседних государств, Африканского союза и IGAD; определена роль национальных сил в урегулировании кризиса; проведен анализ степени влияния западных государств на ход и разрешение конфликта. В исследовании выделены две смысловые части. В первой дается общая характеристика конфликта (предыстория, положение в стране, вооруженная оппозиция), во второй определяется роль внешних факторов в его урегулировании.

The object of the research is the activity of external actors in the adjustment of somalia conflict. The subject of the research is the determination of goals and objectives of external actors in the conflict, the analysis of their activity. The following tasks have been realized in the work: the current situation in the country has been characterized; the activity of neighbor countries, African Union and IGAD has been considered; the role of national forces in the crises adjustment has been determined; an extent of influence of western countries on the conflict process and adjustment has been analyzed. In the research two notional parts are distinguished. In the firs part the general characteristic is given ( prehistory, the situation in the country, military opposition), in the second the role of external actors in its adjustment is determined.
