Influence of environmental factors on the situation of iodine deficiency in the population of St.Petersburg

Abstract

Целью работы являлась оценка влияния экологических факторов среды на сложившуюся ситуацию йододефицита у населения Санкт-Петербурга. В работе рассматриваются основные методы борьбы с нехваткой йода у населения, а также современное состояние атмосферы, водных объектов и почвы, как основных источников поступления йода в организм. Изучение особенностей формирования йододефицита под воздействием плохой экологической обстановки города позволит ликвидировать данную проблему в будущем путем сокращения антропогенного воздействия на окружающую среду. В связи с чем были разработаны рекомендации по профилактике йододефицита в области загрязнения окружающей среды.

The purpose of this research was to assess the impact of environmental factors on the established situation of iodine deficiency among the population of St. Petersburg. This work considers the main methods of combating iodine deficiency in the population, as well as the current state of the atmosphere, water and soil, as the main sources of iodine inflow. Studying the features of iodine deficiency formation’s under the influence of a poor ecological situation in the city will help to prevent this problem in the future by reducing the anthropogenic impact on the environment. The recommendations have been developed in connection with this for the prophylaxis of iodine deficiency domain of environmental pollution.
