| ru_RU |
dc.description.abstract | Turkish architecture boldly occupies one of the leading places in the art of the Turks. Since the beginning of the 17th century contacts with Western Europe were growing, so the interest in Western European culture was growing too. Many Ottoman masters had studied in European countries and, returning to their homeland, brought something new to the established traditions. Most of all, Western influence affects Turkish architecture. The Ottomans wanted to show to their western neighbors that the Turks are not worse, and even surpass them, not only in the military, but also in the cultural way. The change of the sultans tastes strongly affected turkish buildings. In this graduation paper are viewed the traditional features and Western influence on the architecture of the Ottoman Empire of the 18th-19th centuries. | en_GB |
