Concert hall as a multifunctional object in the context of sociocultural space

Abstract

В работе исследуется проблема функционирования концертных залов как монофункционального и многофункционального объекта на примере Большого зала Санкт-Петербургской академической филармонии им.Д. Д. Шостаковича (Россия, 1839) и Эльбской филармонии (Германия, 2017). Концертный зал рассматривается как феномен, обладающий единой структурой, основанной на внутреннем, формообразующем и внешнем уровнях, что дает возможность анализа зала в контексте социокультурного пространства. Исследуются социо-экономические факторы, влияющие на переход концертного зала к «социокультурному центру».

In this work the problem of functioning of concert halls as monofunctional and multifunctional objects is researched using as an example The D.D.Shostakovich St.Petersburg Academic Philharmonic Grand Hall (Russia, 1839) and Elbphilharmonie, (Germany, 2017). Concert hall is considered as a phenomenon with a single structure based on the internal, formative and external levels, which makes it possible to analyze the hall in the context of sociocultural space. The socio-economic factors influencing the transition of the concert hall to the "socio-cultural center" are investigated.
