The issue of women's rights in China: Second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена различным аспектам развития женского движения в Китае и изменения положения женщин в обществе с середины XIX – по начало XX века. Под «женским вопросом» в Китае в рассматриваемый период автор подразумевает комплекс проблем, связанных с правовым и социальным положением женщин в Китае, а также отношение мужской половины населения к женщине, роль женщин в общественной жизни страны.

This Study is devoted to various aspects of the women's movement development in China and the changing status of women in society from the middle of the XIX - to the beginning of the XX century. Under the "women's issue" in China during the period under review, the author implies a set of problems related to the legal and social status of women in China, as well as the attitude of the male half of the population to the woman, the role of women in the social life of the country.
