Cultural integration of immigrants: A case study of the French Republic

Работа посвящена проблемам культурной интеграции иммигрантов на примере Французской Республики. Предметом исследования является миграционная политика в период президентства Н.Саркози и Ф.Олланда. В нем последовательно рассмотрена и проанализированы основные теоретические подходы к изучению миграции, понятийный аппарат; рассмотрены международно-правовые документы, регулирующие миграционные процессы в Европейском Союзе; выделены историко-правовые особенности регулирования миграции во Французской Республике; определены основные положения миграционной политики в период правления двух последних президентов. Актуальность работы обусловлена тем, что в последние годы проблема миграции населения привлекает все больше внимания. В настоящее время продолжается волна миграционного кризиса, начавшаяся в 2015 году, а сам процесс становится все более динамичным и сложным. Для более глубокого понимания эволюции отношения к проблеме культурной интеграции иммигрантов важно проанализировать законодательство в отношении исследуемого вопроса.Целью данного исследования является выявление особенностей современной миграционной политики в рамках нормативно-правового регулирования во Французской Республике. Структура работы включает введение, три главы, разделенные на параграфы, заключение и список использованных источников и литературы.

The given diploma paper is devoted to the problems of cultural integration of immigrants in the example of the French Republic. The subject of the research is the migration policy during the presidency of N.Sarkozy and F.Hollande. In the research there are consistently examined and analyzed main theoretical approaches to the study of migration, the conceptual apparatus. There are also considered international legal documents regulating migration process in the European Union, revealed historacal and legal features of migration regulation in the French Republic and determined main provisions of the migration policy during the reign of the last two presidents. The research is relevant due to the increasing attenion to the problem of migration in recent years. Currently the wave of migration crisis, which began in 2015, proceeds, and the process of migration becomes more dynamic and complex. It is important to analyse the law in relation to the question of research for deeper understanding of the evolution of attitude towards the problem. The aim of this study is to identify the peculiarities of modern migration policy in the framework of legal regulation in the French Republic. The structure of the work includes the introduction, three chapters, divided into paragraphs, the conclusion and the list of literature.
