Mediatization of voluntary youth organizations as a soft power in the BRICS countries

Abstract

Актуальность - диссертация посвящена изучению средств массовой информации молодежных организаций стран БРИКС и их роли в построении международных отношений. Тема является особенно актуальной, поскольку роль БРИКС в системе международных отношений становится все более влиятельной. В условиях глобализации инновации являются определяющим фактором развития. Процесс мировой интеграции невозможно представить без разнообразных по форме и содержанию международных экономических объединений и организаций. В изменяющемся мире все большую роль начинают играть развивающиеся страны. Они увеличивают темпы своего экономического развития и во многом догоняют уровень развития Запада. Как справедливо отмечают многие эксперты, странам BRICS предстоит бросить вызов мировому устройству и, возможно, изменить расстановку сил. Доказательством этого утверждения может служить усиление позиций БРИКС в современном мире. Альянс позволяет странам-участницам более эффективно реализовывать как свои национальные интересы, так и интересы слабо представленных на международном уровне и на мировых и региональных форумах развивающихся стран. Таким образом, «пятерка» получает возможность оказывать реальное влияние на принятие важных геополитических решений. Особенно интересным для журналиста-международника является изучение средств массовой информации как инструмента мягкой силы в построении отношений молодежи стран БРИКС. Из чего следует, что представленная работа позволяет увидеть мощь журналистики в реализации конкретной идеи. Научная новизна и теоретическая значимость работы заключается в осмыслении основных научных категорий, характеризующих применение концепции «мягкой силы», а также изучении эффективности международных объединений через призму средств массовой информации молодежных организаций. В практическом плане важность представляет исследование процесса воздействия Интернет-ресурсов на сознание с целью реализации функции объединения молодежи. Объект исследования – Интернет-ресурсы молодежных организаций стран БРИКС. Предмет исследования – особенности преподнесения информации и основные направления работы организаций. Целью данной работы является разработка нового тематического медиа-проекта сайта и Интернет-телевидения волонтеров БРИКС. Для достижения поставленной цели были сформулированы следующиe задачи: • дать характеристику основным категориям, представляющим процесс медиатизации и концепцию «мягкой силы»; • описать структурную составляющую молодежных организаций и их медиа-платформ; • исследовать основные цели, задачи, стратегию сотрудничества стран-участниц объединения БРИКС; • изучить особенности работы медиа молодежных организаций. Охарактеризовать приемы и способы, которые они используют для реализации функции идеологического объединения; • разработать медиа-проект сайта Волонтеров БРИКС. Для решения поставленных задач в исследовании использованы следующие методы: сравнение, обобщение, метод систематизации, контент-анализ, экспертное интервью. В качестве ключевых методов сбора и обработки эмпирического материала были использованы наблюдение, мониторинг, описание, метод интерпретации, работа с документами, сравнительный анализ. Научно-теоретическая база и степень разработанности проблемы включает в себя работы по теории журналистики, геополитики, истории журналистики, социологии, социальной политической пропаганды. Основную роль в формировании исходной теоретической концепции сыграли исследования Коршунова С.А. «БРИКС в современном мире и интересы России», Лабуша Н.С. «Экстремальный политический процесс: особенности форм и медиатизация», Пую А. С., Бодруновой С. С. «Медиакратия: современные теории и практики». Стоит отметить, что в рамках диссертации было изучено множество материалов об Интернет-журналистике. Были проанализированы труды таких медиаисследователей, как Головлева Е.Л., Кастельс М., Почепцов Г.Г., Бедулин Ю., Давыдов И., Калмыков А.А., Коханова Л.А. Изучением явления БРИКС активно занимаются на факультете государственного управления МГУ имени М.В. Ломоносова такие ученые как В.А. Никонов, А.Л. Хазин, Г.Д. Толорая, А.Ю. Шутов, И.И. Кузнецов, Г.В. Петушков. Существуют фундаментальные зарубежные исследования по теории медиатизации и концепции «мягкой силы»: Joseph S. Nye, Jr. «Soft power. The Means to Success in World Politics», Knut Lundby «Mediatization of communication». Работы опираются на официальные документы, соглашения и теорию международного права. Однако исследований, дублирующих тему представленной диссертации, крайне мало, в силу относительной новизны образования международного альянса БРИКС. Эмпирическую базу исследований составляют сайты и публикации в средствах массовой информации, информационным поводом для которых стала деятельность молодежи стран БРИКС. В основу анализа легли материалы с официальных сайтов молодежных волонтерских организаций, официальные документы, стратегии, положения, публикации на официальных порталах http://www.brics-info.org/ и http://www.infobrics.ru, официальный сайт национального комитета по исследованию БРИКС http://www.nkibrics.ru/, а также публикации информационно-аналитического журнала «BRICS magazine». В основу анализа документов легли материалы (всего было проанализировано около 465 публикаций) с официальных сайтов молодежных волонтерских организаций: http://www.maiscaminhos.org/ «Mais Caminhos», http://волонтёрыпобеды.рф «Волонтеры Победы», http://lionsclubsindia.org/bealeomember.php «LEO CLUB», http://www.zgzyz.org.cn «Chinese Young Volunteers Association», «IkamvaYouth» http://ikamvayouth.org Также автором были проанализированы материалы печатной прессы и интернет ресурсы. Хронологические рамки исследования начинаются с даты создания союза БРИКС - июнь 2006 года по настоящее время. Результаты исследований прошли научную апробацию на научно-образовательных мероприятиях: 1) Магистрант принимал участие в культурно-ознакомительном визите делегации российской молодежи в Республику Индия. 2) Исследование было представлено на научно-практическом семинаре «Модель БРИКС МГУ». 3) Тезисы работы прошли отбор и были представлены на конференции «Ломоносов2017» в МГУ им. М. В. Ломоносова. Структура работы подчинена цели и задачам исследования. Работа включает в себя введение, две главы, заключение, список использованной литературы, приложение. Во введении дается краткая характеристика исследования. Первая глава посвящена общей характеристике БРИКС, истории данной организации и странам-участницам БРИКС, а также анализу терминов, использованных в теме диссертации. Вторая глава описывает результаты анализа медиа-платформ молодежных организаций и представляет проект, целью которого является создание единого информационного пространства на уровне молодежи стран БРИКС. Заключение представляет основные выводы по диссертации. В приложении собраны материалы, необходимые для поиска и изучения информации для исследования.

Relevance - the thesis is devoted to the study of youth organization’s mass media of the BRICS countries and their role in international relations building. The topic is especially relevant as the BRICS plays more influential role in the Global World. In the context of globalization, innovations started to be the determining factor of development. The process of world integration cannot be imagined without international economic associations and organizations. Developing countries are beginning to play an important role in a changing world. They increase their economic development rates and catch up with the level of development of the West. As was rightly observed by many experts, BRICS countries have to challenge the world order and, possibly, change the alignment of forces. Reinforcing the BRICS position in the modern world attests to this statement. The alliance helps to implement more effectively both their national interests and interests of other countries, which poorly represented at the international level. Therefore, "the five" gets the opportunity to exert real influence on the adoption of important geopolitical decisions. The study of the mass media as a soft power instrument in building relations among young people of the BRICS countries started to be especially interesting topic for an international journalist. This research allows to see the full power of journalism in the implementation of a specific idea. Scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the work lies in the understanding of basic scientific categories that characterize the use of the "soft power" concept as well as the study of the effectiveness of international alliances in terms of the media youth organizations. As a practical matter, the importance of the research is the study of the Internet resources impact on the consciousness in order to realize the youth association function. The object of study - Online Resources of the youth organizations of the BRICS countries. Subject of research – particular qualities of presenting information and basic aspects of work of the organizations. The aim of this research is to develop the new media project of the site and Internet TV of BRICS volunteers. To achieve this goal the following tasks have been formulated: • To give a description of the main categories that represent the process of mediatization and the concept of "soft power"; • To describe the structural component of the youth organizations and their media platforms; • To study the main goals, tasks, strategy of cooperation of the countries-participants of the BRICS; • To study peculiarities of the work of youth organizations media. To characterize the methods and methods that they use to realize the function of ideological unification; • To develop a media project for the BRICS Volunteers site. To solve problems, which were mentioned in the research, we used the following methods: a comparison, generalization, ordering method, content analysis, and expert interview. As key methods of collecting and processing empirical material, observation, monitoring, description, interpretation method, work with documents, comparative analysis were used. Scientific and theoretical basis and the extent of the problem includes work on the theory of journalism, geopolitics, history of journalism, sociology, social and political propaganda. The main role in the formation of the initial theoretical concept was played by the studies of S.Korshunov. «BRICS in Modern world and Interests of Russia», Labush N.S. «Extreme political process: features of forms and meditation», Puyu A. S., Bodrunova S. S. «Mediakratiya: modern theories and practices». It is worth mentioning that many materials on Internet journalism were studied within the framework of the thesis. The works of such media researchers as Golovleva E.L., Castels M., Pocheptsov G.G., Bedulin Y., Davydov I., Kalmykov A.A., Kohanova L.A. have been analyzed. The phenomenon of BRICS is actively studied at the Faculty of Public Administration of the Moscow State University. Lomonosov such scientists as Nikonov V.A., Khazin A.L., Toloraya G.D., Shutov A.Y. , Kuznetsov I.I., Petushkov G.V.. There are fundamental for foreign studies of coverage of the theory and the concept of «soft power»: Joseph S. Nye, Jr. «Soft power. The Means to Success in World Politics», Knut Lundby «Mediatization of communication». The works are based on official documents, agreements and the theory of international law. However, there are very few studies that duplicate the topic of the submitted thesis, because of the novelty of the formation of the BRICS international alliance. The empirical base of research constitutes the websites and publication in the media, information which was the reason for the youth activities of the BRICS countries. Analysis is based on the materials from the official websites of the youth volunteer organizations, official documents, policies, regulations, publication on the official website http://www.brics-info.org/ and http://www.infobrics.ru , the official website of the National Committee for Research BRICS http://www.nkibrics.ru/ , as well as the publication of information and analytical magazine «BRICS magazine». The basis of the analysis of the documents lay publications from the official websites of youth volunteer organizations: http://www.maiscaminhos.org/ «Mais Caminhos», http://volontorypobedy.rf «Volunteers of the Victory», http://lionsclubsindia.org/bealeomember.Php «LEO CLUB », http://www.zgzyz.org. Cn «Chinese Young Volunteers Association», «IkamvaYouth» http://ikamvayouth.Org Print press materials and Internet resources were also analyzed. The chronological framework of the study starts from the date of creation of the BRICS alliance - June 2006 to the present. 1) The student was a participatant in a cultural and educational visit of a Russian youth delegation to the Republic of India. 2) The study was presented at the scientific and practical seminar «BRICS Model MSU». 3) The abstracts of the work were selected and presented at the conference «Lomonosov2017» at the Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov. The structure of research is subordinated to the goals and objectives of the science work. Thesis includes introduction, two chapters, conclusion, list of used literature, attachment. The introduction gives a brief description of the research. The first chapter is devoted to the general characteristics of BRICS, history of this organization, the BRICS countries, and the analysis of the terms used in the topic of the dissertation. The second chapter describes the results of the analysis of media platforms of the youth organizations and presents a project, which goal is to create a unified information space at the youth level of the BRICS countries. The conclusion represents the main conclusions of the thesis. The appendix contains the materials, which are necessary to search and study information for the research.
