The comparative study of mutability of individuals of different sexes. I. Methodical problems

Abstract

The comparative analysis of mutability of individuals of different sexes was discussed in view of the control of mutational process by organismus themselves and the role of structural and metabolic parameters of germ cells. The methodical difficulties are connected with the fact that in male we have all the stages of spermatogenesis including spermatozoids but in female the oogenesis stoppat the stage of oocyte !. The necessity of the comparison of mutability. on identical stages of male and female gametogenesis has been discussed and the corresponding methods have been described. Some perspectives in studing of this problem have also been discussed.

Сравнительный анализ мутабильности особей разных полов рассматривается в плане организменного контроля мутационного процесса и роли в нем структурных и метаболических параметров половых клеток. Излагаются методические трудности, связанные с тем, что в организме самца имеются все стадии сперматогенеза, включая сперматозоиды, а в организме самки оогенез заканчивается на стадии ооцитов 1. Обосновывается необходимость сравнения мутабильности идентичных этапов гаметогенеза самок и самцов и приводятся методики, позволяющие проводить такой анализ. Излагаются некоторые перспективы в изучении рассматриваемой проблемы.
