dc.description.abstractThis article focus attention on the defects of legislative regulation of public joint-stock company’s legal status. The author proposes introducing amendments to such Articles as the Civil Code of the Russian Federation as well as the Joint-Stock Companies Act. In particular provisions need to be incorporated into the Joint-Stock’ law regarding independent directors, board of directors’ committees, the corporate secretary of public Joint-Stock company, and internal audits.
