Comparative evaluation of results of treating osteomyelitis patients using new techniques

Abstract

Рост травматизма, широкое внедрение хирургических методов лечения переломов костей и заболеваний опорно-двигательного аппарата приводит к прогрессивному увеличению инфекционных осложнений, лечение которых часто является вызовом для хирурга. Целью работы являлось сравнение эффективности основных типов оперативных вмешательств при остеомиелите, которые наиболее часто выполняются в условиях многопрофильного стационара. Было изучено: сопутствующая патология пациентов, бактериальный спектр возбудителей, отдалённые результаты лечения. Подчёркивалась важность грамотной хирургической тактики и корректной антибактериальной терапии.

The increase in the number of injuries, the widespread introduction of surgical methods for the treatment of bone fractures and deseases of the musculoskeletal system associated with the progressive spread of infectious complications, the treatment of which is often a challenge for the surgeon. The aim of study was to compare the effectiveness of the main types of surgical interventions for osteomyelitis, which are most often performed in a multidisciplinary hospital. Concomitant pathology of patients, bacterial spectrum of pathogens, long-term results of treatment was studied. The importance of competent surgical tactics and correct antibacterial therapy was emphasize.
