The phenomenon of childhood perception in pre-Petrine Russia

Abstract

Выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена теме детства в Допетровской Руси. Актуальность темы обуславливают, прежде всего, её малая изученность, а также важность для понимания эволюции русского детства в принципе. Цель работы – выяснить, какая именно культура понимания детства сложилась в Допетровской Руси. Для достижения этой цели используются различные современные подходы, в частности структуралистский и психоисторический. Введение работы содержит краткое описание трудов, заложивших фундамент методологии истории детства,а также описание отечественной историографии, посвящённой как вопросу истории детства в России в целом, так и древнерусскому детству в частности. Первая глава рассматривает детство как культурно-исторический феномен, рамки и периодизацию детства в Допетровской Руси, а также столкновение христианского и языческого в дискурсе древнерусского детства. Вторая глава посвящена отношениям взрослого и ребёнка в древнерусской повседневности, в ней говорится о восприятии ребёнка через философскую категорию Другого, традиции "любящего небрежения", а также о трендах, наметившихся в восприятии детства к концу рассматриваемого периода.

Graduation qualification work is devoted to the theme of childhood in Pre-Peter Russia. The relevance of the topic is conditioned by its low degree of study, and also by the importance for understanding the evolution of Russian childhood in principle. The purpose of the work is to find out exactly what culture of childhood comprehension has developed in the pre-Petrine Russia. To achieve this goal, various modern approaches, in particular structuralist and psychohistorical, are used. The introduction of the work contains a brief description of the works that laid the foundation for the methodology of the history of childhood, as well as a description of Russian historiography, devoted both to the history of childhood in Russia as a whole and to ancient Russian childhood in particular. The first chapter considers childhood as a cultural and historical phenomenon, the framework and periodization of childhood in Pre-Petrine Russia, as well as the clash of the Christian and pagan in the discourse of ancient Russian childhood. The second chapter is devoted to the relationship of an adult and a child in the ancient Russian everyday life, it talks about the child's perception through the philosophical category of the Constitutive Other, the tradition of "loving negligence", as well as the trends that appeared in the perception of childhood by the end of the period under consideration.
