Peculiarities of clinical course and outcomes of community-acquired pneumonia during the 2015-2016 flu season according to the data from Saint-Petersburg City Pulmonology Clinic

Abstract

Внебольничные пневмонии на фоне гриппа являются серьезной проблемой здравоохранения. Во время эпидемии 2009-10 гг., по данным ВОЗ, насчитывалось более 1 млн случаев госпитализации пациентов с данным диагнозом. В период эпидемии 2015-16 гг. число случаев заболевания составило 7,79 млн человек. В данной работе был проведен анализ анамнестических, физикальных данных пациентов, результатов лабораторных, серологических и инструментальных методов, выделены особенности течения и исходов заболевания с выявлением основных закономерностей. В исследование вошли 30 пациентов, лечившихся в «Введенской городской больнице» с диагнозом «внебольничная пневмония» с декабря 2015 по февраль 2016 гг.

Community-acquired pneumonia on a background of influenza is a major public health problem. During the 2009-10 Influenza epidemic, according to the WHO, there were over one million hospitalizations of patients with this diagnosis in the Globe. During the 2015-16 Influenza epidemic the number of cases made up 7.79 million. There have been done the analysis of anamnesis, physical data of patients, results of lab tests, serological and instrumental methods, features of clinical course and disease outcomes, and the identification of basic regularities in the research. The study included 30 patients treated in the "Saint-Petersburg City Pulmonology Clinic" as diagnosed with "community acquired pneumonia" from the December 2015 to February 2016.
