Female physical Self in fashion industry

Abstract

Для изучения особенностей физического я у девушек,вовлеченных в сферу модной индустрии, была обследована 61 девушка(30 девушек, работающих более года в Санкт-Петербургских модельных агентствах "LMA","Select Management", и 31 девушка - студентки экономического факультета СПбГУ). Исследовали структурные и содержательные особенности когнитивного, эмоционального и поведенческого компонентов физического Я в составе Я-концепции и связи между ними у девушек в двух группах. Использовались методики: "Исследование самоотношения к образу физического Я" А.Г. Черкашиной; "Оценочно-содержательная интерпретация компонентов внешнего облика" В.А. Лабунской, Е.В. Белугиной; опросник "Адаптационно-компенсаторные стратегии по преобразованию внешности" Гавриленко А.А.; "Тест-опросник самоотношения" В.В. Столина, С.Р. Пантилеева; "Какая Я?" М. Куна в модификации Юрченко В.И.; модифицированная методика Дембо-Рубинштейн. Обработка данных: сравнительный, корреляционный, кластерный анализ, контент-анализ. Результаты. Описаны различия в значимости, содержательной интерпретации и удовлетворенности отдельными составляющими физического Я и особенности их взаимосвязей с самоотношением девушек, поведенческие стратегии по преобразованию внешности в двух группах. Выявлены отрицательные взаимосвязи "Зеркального" Физического Я с компонентами в группе моделей.

To study the peculiarities of the physical self, 61 girls (30 girls of models of the St.Petersburg model agencies LMA, Select Management)were examined by girls involved in the fashion industry, and 31 girls are students of the St. Petersburg State University of economics faculty. We were studied the structural and substantive features of the cognitive, emotional and behavioral components of the physical self in the I-concept between two groups of girls. Modified methods were used: the technique "Investigation of the self-relationship to the image of the physical self," by Cherkashina; method "Estimated and meaningful interpretation of components of the external appearance", by V.A. Labunskaya and E.V. Belugina; Questionnaire "adaptive-compensatory strategies for the transformation of appearance" by Gavrilenko A.A.; "Test-questionnaire of self-relationship", developed by V.V. Stolin, S.R. Pantileev; The methodology of 20 definitions "What kind of self?" - M.Kun, modigication Yurchenko V.I; The Demb-Rubinstein technique. Data processing - comparative, correlation, cluster analysis, content analysis. The results, differences in the significance, meaningful interpretation and satisfaction with individual components of the physical self and features of their interrelationship with the self-relationship of girls, behavioral strategies for the transformation of appearance in two groups are described. The negatives relationships of the "Mirror" Physical Self with the components of the self-relationship in the group of models are revealed.
