Sacred history: from David to Jesus

Abstract

This section of the anthology is devoted to the lives of 11 prophets in the period stated. It provides a comprehensive comparative analysis of the Qur’ān and Bible versions and parallels between the traditions based on the Qur’ān and Bible. All the Islamic traditions, including the Qur’ānic ones, are translated by the authors. The Anthology can be used in the courses on the Sacred History (History of the Prophets), the Qur’ān exegetics, and Comparative Religious Studies.

Данный раздел Антологии посвящен жизнеописанию одиннадцати пророков, служивших в означенный период. Представлен достаточно полный сопоставительный анализ коранической и библейской версий, указаны наиболее значимые параллели между околокораническими и околобиблейскими преданиями. Все мусульманские предания, включая коранические, даются в авторском переводе. Антология ориентирована на курсы по священной истории (история пророков), коранической экзегетике, сравнительному религиоведению.
