Peculiarities of control over the disease in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Abstract

ХОБЛ является одним из самых распространенных хронических заболеваний в мире. Концепция контроля ХОБЛ способствует индивидуализации подхода к каждому пациенту. Концепция контроля ХОБЛ строится на трех основных аспектах: тяжесть течения, влияние на жизнь пациента, стабильность. В ходе обследования 30 пациентов было выявлено, что ни один их них не может считаться контролируемым. Основной причиной этого явления являлась высокая степень выраженности влияния ХОБЛ на жизнь пациентов. Этот параметр коррелировал с данными, описывающими отношение пациента к болезни, его приверженности к терапии, взаимодействия с врачом. Улучшить степень контроля ХОБЛ могут действия, направленные на отказ от курения среди пациентов, мотивация к раннему обращению к врачу при ухудшении состояния, регулярное обследование больных.

COPD is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world. The concept of control of COPD was proposed in order to improve the individual approach to each patient. This concept is based on three main aspects: the severity of disease, it’s impact on the patient's life and stability. The survey of 30 patients showed the disease of none of them was controlled. The main reason for this phenomenon was the significant impact of COPD on the life of patients. The impact of disease correlated with the data describing the attitude of the patient to the disease, their adherence to the therapy, their interaction with the doctor. To improve the grade of control of COPD doctor should promote smoking cessation among patients, motivate them to early treatment in case at the deterioration of their symptoms and examine patients regularly.
