Foreign literature in the reading range of Chinese schoolchildren after the Cultural Revolution

Abstract

Данная магистерская диссертация посвящена исследованию иностранной литературы в круге чтения китайских школьников после «культурной революции». Цель исследования заключается в выявлении объема и содержания иностранной литературы в китайских школах после «культурной революции» на материале учебников по «языку и литературе» четырех исторических периодов (после «культурной революции» до начала 1980-х годов, с 1980-х до 1990-х гг., с 2000-х до 2010-х гг., с 2010-х гг. до настоящего времени). В первой главе рассматривается история развития и реформирования школьной системы Китая во время и после «культурной революции», что позволяет нам сделать выводы о влиянии политики и идеологии на образовательную систему Китая. Во второй главе в целях выявления объема и содержания иностранной литературы в китайских школах после «культурной революции» (1966-1976) мы исследовали иностранную литературу, включаемую в наиболее популярные учебники по «языку и литературе». Мы проанализировали более ста учебников издательства «Народное образование» младшей, средней и старшей школ различных периодов, что позволило сформировать достаточно полную картину о динамике изменений в содержании учебных программ, а также проследить влияние политики и идеологии в разные временные периоды. Анализ иностранной литературы позволил установить лидеров в зарубежной литературе и некоторые особенности содержания и отбора текстов. Данная работа состоит из введения, двух глав, включающих по два и четыре параграфа соответственно, заключения, списка использованной литературы и двух приложений.

This master's thesis investigates the study of foreign literature in the reading range of Chinese schoolchildren after the Cultural Revolution. The purpose of this thesis is to identify the volume and content of foreign literature in Chinese schools after the Cultural revolution. This research is based on textbooks on “language and literature” of four historical periods (after the Cultural revolution to the early 1980s, from the 1980s to the 1990s, from the 2000s to the 2010s, from the 2010s to the present). In the first chapter of the paper it has been analyzed the history of the development and reform of the Chinese school system during and after the Cultural Revolution. Based on this, it can be argued that politics and ideology had a great influence on the educational system of China. In the second chapter, in order to identify the volume and content of foreign literature in Chinese schools after the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976), we analyzed the foreign literature in the most popular textbooks on “language and literature.” We analyzed more than a hundred textbooks from the publishing house “National Education” for junior, middle and high schools of various periods, which made it possible to form a fairly complete picture of the dynamics of changes in the content of curricula, as well as to trace the influence of politics and ideology in different time periods. The analysis of foreign literature made it possible to identify leaders in foreign literature and some features of the content of texts. The graduate qualification work is represented by an introduction, two chapters comprising two and four paragraphs respectively, a conclusion, a list of used sources and literature and two appendices.
