Audit of fixed assets in investment cycles

Abstract

Целью исследования является изучение различных аспектов аудита основных средств предприятий, инвестиций в них, обоснование необходимости проведения аудита и выявление возможных рисков на примерах предприятий. В ходе работы изучены теоретические аспекты аудита основных средств, определён порядок проведения аудиторской проверки и её различные этапы, изучены аспекты составления программы аудита и тема инвестирования в основных средства и его важности для предприятий. Основной целью аудита основных средств по циклам является оценка достоверности информации в финансовой отчётности, касающейся основных средств и всех операций с ними, начиная от планирования их покупки, и заканчивая введением в эксплуатацию и оплатой. Аудиторскую проверку можно разделить на три этапа: подготовка к проверке и составление плана аудита, сбор аудиторских доказательств, заключительный этап. Наиболее масштабным из них является второй этап. При рассмотрении операций с основными средствами, важно обратить внимание и на инвестиции в них. Это обусловлено тем, что инвестиции играют важную роль в существовании и деятельности любого предприятия. Без инвестирования в основные средства любое предприятие рано или поздно станет неконкурентоспособным и будет вытеснено с рынка. В работе выделены различные виды инвестиций в основные средства, связанные с уровнем риска неполучения ожидаемых результатов от их осуществления. В зависимости от того, какой вид инвестиций осуществляется, будет изменяться объём аудиторских процедур. В заключительной главе описана программа аудиторской проверки, выделены её основные этапы, и на примере двух компаний изучена и проанализирована информация об основных средствах и выявлены возможные риски, на которые стоит обратить внимание при проведении проверки.

The aim of the study is to investigate various aspects of the audit of fixed assets of enterprises, investment in them, and rationale for the necessity of auditing and to identify potential risks on the examples of enterprises. The work shows the theoretical aspects of the audit of fixed assets, defines the order of the audit and its various stages, and studies aspects of the preparation of the audit program and the theme of investment in fixed assets and its importance for enterprises. The main objective of the audit of fixed assets over the cycles is to estimate the reliability of the information about fixed assets in the financial statements and all operations with them from planning their purchases, and ending with commissioning and payment. Audit can be divided into three phases: preparation for testing and preparation of the audit plan, the collection of audit evidences, the final stage. The most scale of these is the second stage. When considering operations with fixed assets, it is important to pay attention to investing in them. This is due to the fact that investments play an important role in the existence and activities of any company. Without investments in fixed assets, any enterprise sooner or later will become uncompetitive and will be expelled from the market. The paper highlighted the different types of investments in fixed assets related to the risk of non-receipt of expected results from their implementation. Depending on what type of investment is carried out will vary the volume of audit procedures. The final chapter describes audit program, highlights its main stages, and by the example of two companies analyzes the information on fixed assets and identifies potential risks which are worth paying attention during the audit.
