The geology and localisation of gold mineralisation in the western part of the Keivy structure

Abstract

В работе рассмотрены геологическое строение, петрографические и геохимические особенности кислых метавулканитов лебяжинской свиты Кейвского террейна. В процессе исследования были изучены работы предшественников и проанализированы новые данные, полученные в результате полевых работ в 2021-2022 гг., изучено геологическое строение исследуемых толщ, выделены отдельные разновидности пород в пределах лебяжинской свиты, определен их петрографический состав и геохимические особенности, произведено сравнение этих признаков с породами зеленокаменного пояса Колмозеро-Воронья и щелочными гранитам Кейвского комплекса. Результатом работы является предположение о генезисе исследуемых пород и о связи вулканитов с магматическими комплексами, представленными на рассматриваемой территории, оценены перспективы золотоносности.

The work considers the geological structure, petrographic and geochemical features of acidic metavolcanites of the Lebyazhinskaya Formation of the Keiv terrane. During the study the works of the predecessors were studied and the new data obtained as a result of field works in 2021-2022 were analyzed, the geological structure of the studied strata was studied, certain rock varieties within the Lebyazhinskaya Formation were identified, their petrographic composition and geochemical features were determined, these features were compared with the rocks of the Kolmozero-Voronja greenstone belt and alkaline granites of the Keivy complex. The result of the work is the assumption about the genesis of the studied rocks and about the connection of volcanites with magmatic complexes represented in the considered territory, the prospects of gold-bearing capacity are estimated.
