Prospects of development of modern women`s movement in the Middle East

Abstract

Выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена актуальной теме развития современного женского движения в странах Ближнего Востока. Целью выпускной квалификационной работы является определение перспектив развития женского движения в государствах Ближнего Востока. В первой главе работы рассмотрены теоретические подходы к определению женского движения и изучен международный опыт формирования и развития женского движения. Во второй главе выявлена специфика развития женского движения в странах Ближнего Востока. Особое внимание уделено определению идейных основ женского движения, рассмотрению нормативно-правовой базы и изучению деятельности женских организаций. В заключении подведены итоги и сделаны выводы по поводу возможностей и ограничений развития женского движения в государствах Ближнего Востока. Анализ деятельности женских объединений и одиночных активистов позволил выделить три организационные модели: либеральную модель, радикальную модель и патриархальную модель. В работе определены сильные стороны женского движения в странах Ближнего Востока, которые стимулируют развитие женского движения, и слабые стороны, которые необходимо преодолеть для более активного развития женского движения.

This graduation project deals with the development of modern women`s movement in the countries of the Middle East. The purpose of the project is to determine the prospects for the development of women`s movement in the Middle East countries. In the first chapter the theoretical approaches to the definition of women`s movement and international experience in the formation and development of the women`s movement were studied. The second chapter reveals specific features of the women`s movement in the Middle East. Special attention is paid to the identification of the ideological foundations of the women`s movement, the consideration of the normative and legislative basis and the study of activity of the women`s organizations. In conclusion, the author sums up the material and the conclusions are drawn about the posibilities and limitations of the women`s movement in the Middle East. Analysis of the activities of women`s groups and individual activists revealed three organizational models: the liberal model, the radical model and the patriarchal model. In the project the strengths of women`s movement in the Middle East are determined, which stimulate the development of the women`s movement and the weaknesses that should be overcome for more active development of the women`s movement.
