Comparison of intonation systems of Brazilian Portuguese and Russian

Abstract

В данной работе представлены результаты перцептивного и акустического анализа интонации русской речи бразильцев. Изучалась интонационная интерференция в речи бразильцев при реализации разных типов предложений. Было продемонстрировано, как интонация высказываний в бразильском португальском языке влияет на интонацию в русской речи бразильцев. Результаты показывают высокую степень интерференции, что приводит к орфофоническим и орфоэпическим ошибкам в русской речи бразильцев.

This paper presents the results of a perception and acoustic analysis of the intonation of the Russian speech of Brazilians. Intonational interference in the speech of Brazilians during the implementation of different types of sentences was studied from an acoustic point of view. It is shown how the intonation of utterances in Brazilian Portuguese influences the intonation in the Russian speech of Brazilians. Results show high rank of interference due to which native speakers of the Brazilian version of the Portuguese language transfer the features of the intonation system of their native language to the studied one, which leads to orthophonic and orthoepic errors.
