Representation of the concept "emptiness" in Andrei Bely’s works

Abstract

В работа представлено описание репрезентации концепта «пустота» в творчестве Андрея Белого. Новизна исследования заключается в том, что репрезентация избранного концепта рассмотрена на материале произведения Андрея Белого, творчество которого до сих пор не привлекалось для систематического изложения смысла концепта пустота, а также в том, что указанный концепт изучается когнитивными методами, разработанными проф. В.В. Колесовым. Представлены результаты исследования концепта «пустота» в романе Андрея Белого «Петербург», проведено сравнение авторских вариантов концепта с общенациональными инвариантами, зафиксированными в «Словаре русской ментальности». Лингво-когнитивный анализ концептов художественного текста способствует лучшему пониманию произведения.

The paper presents a description of the representation of the concept "emptiness" in the works of Andrei Bely. The novelty of the research lies in the fact that the representation of the selected concept is considered on the material of Andrei Bely, whose works have not yet been involved in a systematic presentation of the meaning of the concept void, as well as in the fact that this concept is studied using cognitive methods, developed by Professor V.V. Kolesov. The article presents the results of the research of the concept "emptiness" in Andrei Bely's novel «Petersburg», compares author's variants of the concept with the all-national invariants, fixed in the «Dictionary of the Russian mentality». The linguo-cognitive analysis of the concepts in the fiction text contributes to a better understanding of the work.
