Art Villa: A concept for adapting Ainola Villa in the town of Zelenogorsk to a museum centre

1. Актуальность работы обусловлена запросом от Главы муниципального образования, исполняющего полномочия председателя Муниципального Совета города Зеленогорска на разработку дипломного проекта-концепции развития краеведческого музея и туристического центра муниципального уровня на территории виллы «Айнола»; 2. Цель работы заключается в наделении виллы «Айнола» новыми смыслами и функциями для возможности сохранения ценной исторической постройки. 3. Задачи работы: • исследовать объект и территорию проектирования; • исследовать аналоги; • разработать проектное предложение концепции использования виллы «Айнола» в новом функциональном качестве. 4. Краткое описание работы. 4.1. Изученный материал и структура пояснительной записки. Во время выполнения дипломного проекта, был проведен комплексный анализ объекта проектирования, его местоположения, архитектурно-пространственного решения, проблем сохранения виллы «Айнола». В ходе исследования аналогов, были изучены особенности приспособления исторических деревянных дач под новые функции. Пояснительная записка состоит из введения, где обосновывается актуальность работы, формируются цель и задачи. В первой главе описываются исторические сведенья о городе Зеленогорске, вилле «Айнола», современное состояние, проблемы сохранения, архитектурно-пространственное решение виллы и особенности средовой организации прилегающей территории. Во второй главе проведено ознакомление с исследованиями дачи как части культурного и архитектурно-ландшафтного комплекса, проводится анализ проектов ревитализации деревянных дач Санкт-Петербурга и пригородов, анализ особенностей и основных принципов формирования краеведческих музеев. Третья глава посвящена концепции проекта, функциональному зонированию, формированию образа, сценарному решению, целевой аудитории и интерьерному решению. В приложении указан список литературы и электронные ресурсы, включающие в себя 30 источников. 4.2. Разработанные проектные предложения. Проект приспособления виллы «Айнола» в Зеленогорске под музейный центр основан на результатах анализа объекта и перспектив развития. Предложено восстановление исторического облика объекта культурного значения для последующего создания музейного центра, который будет помимо краеведческого музея включать в себя и дополнительные функции. Будет организован информационный центр и концертно-выставочное пространство. Основу экспозиции будут составлять такие музейные предметы, как открытки коллекции Национальной Библиотеки, письма, фотографии и предметы декоративно-прикладного искусства из частных собраний, предметы искусства (картины художников Курортного района), оригиналы и полноразмерные копии карт начиная с 17 века и до наших дней. Для размещения экспонатов предусмотрено музейное оборудование в виде витрин, интерактивных стендов, стеллажей, архивного шкафа, мобильных напольных стендов, использование выдвижных систем хранения. Образ проекта – ларец – строится на контрасте «оболочки» – классической архитектуры здания, и «содержания» – нейтрального интерьера и ценных экспонатов. Концепцией проекта также предусмотрено формирование привлекательной благоустроенной территории комплекса. Предлагается восстановить исторические ландшафтные решения парковой зоны, реконструировать фонтан и воссоздать утраченную беседку, создать зоны отдыха у пруда для посетителей парка, организовать площадку для проведения мастер классов, пленэров или временных выставок, террасы использовать для проведения встреч краеведческого клуба, чаепития, временные выставки. 5. Краткое описание методик, технологий и программного обеспечения, используемого при подготовке к ВКР. Проектная часть работы выполнена в 3D-модели, созданной в «SketchUp 2020», 3D-визуализации в «3Ds Max 2022» и «Lumion 11.0», чертежи сделаны в «ArchiCAD 24», верстка презентационных планшетов в «Canva», компоновка собрана в «Adobe Photoshop 2021», пояснительная записка создана в «Microsoft Word 2019».

1. The relevance of the work is due to a request from the Head of the municipality, the head of the municipality acting as the chairman of the Municipal Council of the city of Zelenogorsk, to develop a graduation project-concept for the development of a local history museum and a municipal-level tourist center on the territory of the «Ainola» villa; 2. The purpose of the work is to endow the villa «Ainola» with new meanings and functions for the possibility of preserving a valuable historical building. 3. Tasks of the work: • explore the object and the design area; • explore analogs; • develop a project for the concept of using the villa «Ainola» in a new function. 4. A brief description of the work. 4.1 The research material and the structure of the explanatory note. During the graduation project, a comprehensive analysis was conducted: the design object, its location, the architecture of the building, the problems of preserving the villa «Ainola». During the study of analogues, the features of the adaptation of historical wooden cottages for new functions were studied. Analogs were investigated, the features of the adaptation of historical wooden dachas to new functions were studied.

The explanatory note consists of an introduction, where the relevance of the work is justified, the purpose and tasks are formed. The first chapter describes historical information about the city of Zelenogorsk, the villa «Ainola», its current condition, conservation problems, architectural and spatial solution of the villa and the features of the environmental organization of the adjacent territory. In the second chapter, an introduction to the studies of the dacha as part of the cultural and architectural landscape complex was conducted. The analysis of projects for the revitalization of wooden dachas in Saint-Petersburg and the suburbs, the analysis of the features and basic principles of the formation of local history museums is carried out. The third chapter is devoted to the project concept, functional zoning, image formation, scenario solution, target audience and interior solution. The application contains a list of literature and electronic resources, including 30 sources. 4.2. Developed project proposals. The project of adaptation of the villa «Ainola» in Zelenogorsk for a museum center is based on the results of the analysis of the object and the prospects for development. It is proposed to restore the historical appearance of an object of cultural significance for the further creation of a museum center, which will include additional functions in addition to the museum of local history. An information center and a concert and exhibition space will be organized. The exposition will be based on museum items such as postcards from the collection of the National Library, letters, photographs and objects of decorative and applied art from private collections, art objects (paintings by artists of the Kurortny district), originals and full-size copies of maps from the 17th century to the present day. Museum equipment for the placement of exhibits is provided in the form of showcases, interactive stands, shelving, archive cabinet, mobile floor stands, extendable storage systems. The image of the project – the casket – is based on the contrast of the «outer shell» – the classical architecture of the building, and the «content» – the neutral interior and valuable exhibits. The concept of the project also includes the formation of an attractive landscaped territory of the complex. It is proposed to restore the historical landscape solutions of the park area, reconstruct the fountain and recreate the lost gazebo, create recreation areas by the pond , organize a platform for master classes, plein-airs or temporary exhibitions, use terraces for meetings of the local history club, tea parties, temporary exhibitions. 5. A brief description of the techniques, technologies and software used in preparation for the design project. The design part of the work was done in a 3D model created in «SketchUp 2020», 3D visualization in «3Ds Max 2022» and «Lumion 11.0», drawings were made in «ArchiCAD 24», layout of presentation in «Canva», layout of the project was assembled in «Adobe Photoshop 2021», explanatory note was created in «Microsoft Word 2019».
