Variable identification of natural products by mass spectra

Abstract

В данной работе разработан метод вариативной идентификации пептидных природных соединений по масс-спектрам с учётом двух возможных модификаций. При этом одна модификация предполагается фиксированной, а вторая -- произвольная. Фиксированная модификация может быть как одной из высокочастотных, так и некоторой специальной, заданной пользователем в соответствии с его интересами. Метод был протестирован на данных из баз GNPS и PNPdatabase.

Реализованный метод позволяет идентифицировать масс-спектры ранее неизвестных пептидных природных соединений, которые не могли быть идентифицированы современными алгоритмами, что, в свою очередь, ускоряет поиск новых антибиотиков, иммунодепрессантов и других лекарств.

In this work, I have developed a method for the variative identification of peptidic natural products by mass spectra, taking into account two possible modifications. In this case, one modification is assumed to be fixed, and the second is arbitrary. A fixed modification can be either one of the high-frequency ones, or some special one, set by the user in accordance with his interests. The method was tested on data from the GNPS and PNPdatabases.

The implemented method makes it possible to identify the mass spectra of previously unknown peptidic natural products that could not be identified by modern algorithms, which, in turn, speeds up the search for new antibiotics, immunosuppressants and other drugs.
