The geological and geophysical modelling of kimberlite magmatism. Estimation of diamond content in the central part of the Zimneberezhny area, Arkhangelsk region

Abstract

В рамках данной работы обосновывается геолого-геофизическая поисковая модель центральной части Зимнебережного алмазоносного района. На основе опубликованных материалов, а также многочисленных результатов, полученных в ходе опытно-методических и поисковых работ, проводимых специалистами ЗАО КЦ "РОСГЕОФИЗИКА", анализируется возможность применения различных геолого-геофизических методик в пределах исследуемой площади. Описываются геолого-геофизические критерии алмазоносности, проявление в геофизических полях перспективных аномалий трубочного типа; приводятся примеры описанных признаков алмазоносности на эталонных объектах. Также дается характеристика геологического строения территории и истории ее тектонического развития, что немаловажно для понимания локализациии кимберлитового магматизма.

This paper substantiates the geological and geophysical exploration model of the central part of the Zimneberezhny diamondiferous region. On the basis of published materials, as well as numerous results obtained in the course of experimental and methodological and prospecting work carried out by specialists of CJSC CC "ROSGEOPHYSICS", the possibility of using various geological and geophysical methods within the study area is analyzed. The geological and geophysical criteria of diamond content, the manifestation of promising anomalies in geophysical fields are described; examples of the described signs of diamond content on reference objects are given. A characteristic of the geological structure of the territory and the history of its tectonic development is also given, which is important for understanding the localization of kimberlite magmatism.
