Linguistic means of expressing emotionality in poetic speech (a case study of the poetry of Akhmatova and Tsvetaeva)

Abstract

Работа посвящена языковым средствам выражения эмотивности в поэтической речи Анны Ахматовой и Марины Цветаевой. В работе дается характеристика эмотивности как лингвистической категории; разграничиваются такие смежные понятия, как эмотивность, экспрессивность и эмоциональность; рассматриваются эмотивный фон, эмотивная тональность и эмотивная окраска как способы отражения эмотивности в художественном тексте. Главное внимание врактической части работы уделяется языковым средствам выражения эмотивности в тексте: лексическим, синтаксическим, стилистическим. Особо подчеркивается, что в поэтическом тексте основными репрезентантами эмотивности выступают средства художественной выразительности, а также большую роль играет интонационное оформление текста, задающего основной эмоциональный фон. Также в контексте описания эмотивности поэтического текста особое внимание уделяется характеристике образа и образности как главных стилевых черт художественной речи.

The theme of the following work is the linguistic means of expressing emotionality in the poetic speech of Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeva. The paper describes emotionality as a linguistic category; distinguishes such related notions as emotionality, expressiveness and imagery; considers emotional background, emotive tonality and emotive colouring as ways of reflecting emotionality in a fiction text. The main attention in the practical part of the article is paid to the linguistic means of expressing emotionality in a text: lexical, syntactical, stylistic. It is especially emphasised that the main representations of emotionality in a poetic text are the means of artistic expression, and the intonation design of the text, which sets the main emotional background, plays a great role. Also in the context of describing the emotionality of a poetic text special attention is paid to the characteristics of image and imagery as the main stylistic features of artistic speech.
