Special Aspects in development of North-West Russian small towns as the tourist centers

Abstract

Данная выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена выявлению особенностей, перспектив и возможностей развития малых городов Северо-Запада России как центров туризма. Исследование роли и современного положения малых городов, анализ зарубежного опыта и выявление основных проблем и перспектив малых городских поселений, сравнение и обобщение полученных материалов дало основание говорить о возможностях развития различных видов туризма в малых городах региона и формирование в некоторых из них центров туризма. На основании выявленных особенностей были составлены рекомендации по формированию единой стратегии развития малых городов Северо-Запада России как центров туризма.

This final qualifying work is dedicated to the determining of special aspects, perspectives and opportunities in development of North-West Russian small towns as the tourist centers. Review of role and current situation in small towns, examination of foreign experience and obtaining of the main small towns problems and perspectives, comparison and generalization of all the materials and results let talking about the opportunities of different kinds of tourism development in small towns and the organisftion of tourist centers in some of them. The unified development strategy for the Nort-West Russian small towns as the tourist centers based on the determined special aspects was suggested as the most important result of the work.
