The concept of secession in the United Kingdom under the post-Brexit conditions: social, political, and socio-economic dimensions

Выпуская квалификационная работа на тему «Идея Сецессии В Великобритании В Условиях Пост-Брексита: Общественно-Политическое И Социально-Экономическое Измерения» Объект исследования – сецессия как политический процесс в Великобритании. Предмет исследования – содержание и динамика сецессионизма в регионах Великобритании. Цель работы – оценить развитие идеи сецессии в Великобритании в условиях пост-Брексита на основе изучения ее общественно-политических и социально-экономических характеристик. Для достижения поставленной цели необходимо было решить следующие исследовательские задачи 1. Концептуализировать определение и соотношение таких понятий как сецессия, ирредентизм, деволюция, политический сепаратизм; 2. Определить детерминанты динамики сецессии; 3. Детализировать факторы, результаты и соглашения Брексита в Соединенном Королевстве; 4. Провести анализ динамики идеи сецессии в Северной Ирландии, Шотландии и Уэльсе. В рамках данного исследования были использованы общенаучные (дедукция, индукция, анализ, синтез), историко-описательный и политико-описательный методы. Что позволило оценить развитие идеи сецессии в условиях пост-Брексита для Северной Ирландии, Шотландии и Уэльсе в общественно-политическом и социально-экономическом измерениях. Работа состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения, списка использованной литературы и источников. Во введении раскрывается актуальность выбранной темы, описываются цель и задачи, методы исследования, а также содержится анализ источников и литературы. В первой главе концептуализированы основные понятия, используемые в работе: сецессия, ирредентизм, деволюция, политический сепаратизм, национализм, а также изложены теоретические детерминанты влияющие на изменение динамики сецессии. Во второй главе детализируются факторы, результаты референдума о Брексите и условия финальных соглашений о выходе Великобритании из ЕС. Проведен анализ динамики идеи сецессии в Северной Ирландии, Шотландии и Уэльсе в условиях пост-Брексита. По результатам, которого для каждого региона сделан вывод влиянии последствий выхода Великобритании из Европейского Союза на баланс «издержек-выгод» возможного осуществления сецессии. В заключении обобщается проделанная работа и формулируются выводы по развитию идеи сецессии в Великобритании в условиях пост-Брексита.

The Idea of Secession in Britain in the Context of Post-Brexit: Socio-Political and Socio-Economic Dimensions". The object of the study is secession as a political process in Great Britain. The subject of the research is the content and dynamics of secessionism in the regions of Great Britain. The objective of the work is to estimate the development of the idea of secession in the United Kingdom in the post-Brexit conditions through the study of its socio-political and socio-economic parameters. In order to achieve the goal it was necessary to solve the following research tasks 1. To conceptualize the definition and correlation of such notions as secession, irredentism, devolution, political separatism; 2. To identify the determinants of the dynamics of secession; 3. To detail the factors, results, and agreements of Brexit in the United Kingdom; 4. To analyze the dynamics of the idea of secession in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. This study used universal scientific (deduction, induction, analysis, synthesis), historical-descriptive and political-descriptive methods. This allowed to estimate the development of the idea of secession in post-Brexit conditions for Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales in the social,political and socio-economic aspects. The work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and sources. The introduction reveals the relevance of the chosen topic, describes the goal and objectives, research methods, and contains an analysis of sources and literature. The first chapter conceptualizes the basic concepts used in the work: secession, irredentism, devolution, political separatism, nationalism, and outlines the theoretical determinants influencing changes in the dynamics of secession. The second chapter details the factors, the results of the Brexit referendum and the terms of the final agreements on Britain's exit from the EU. The dynamics of the idea of secession in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales under post-Brexit conditions are analyzed. Based on the results of which for each region a conclusion is made about the influence of the consequences of Britain's exit from the European Union on the "cost-benefit" balance of the possible implementation of secession. The conclusion summarizes and concludes the work done on the development of the idea of secession in the UK under post-Brexit conditions.
