Participation and approaches of the BRICS countries aimed at the international migration problem solution

Abstract

В данном исследовании анализируются участие и подходы стран БРИКС к проблеме международной миграции. Первая причина интереса автора к проблеме международной миграции связана с возрастающим значением международной миграции. Концепция миграции имеет такую же древнюю историю, как и история человечества, и влияет на общество в социальном, экономическом, политическом, историческом, религиозном и культурном плане. В результате технологических разработок и интернационализации информации с начала 21 века люди получили доступ к информации быстрее, и благодаря этому взаимодействию увеличились масштабы миграции. Во-вторых, проблема международной миграции прямо или косвенно затрагивает внутреннюю и внешнюю политику государств в силу своих политических, экономических и социальных последствий и вызывает различные кризисы между государствами на международной арене. В-третьих, еще один момент, на который обращает внимание автор, заключается в том, что миграция переходит из области социальных наук в область политики. Поэтому автор стремился перевести проблему международной миграции «из области социологического обсуждения в поле обсуждения международных отношений». Проблема международной миграции, являющаяся актуальным явлением, должна быть проанализирована с точки зрения стран БРИКС отдельно и объединения БРИКС в целом. Поэтому автор провел всесторонний анализ теорий международной миграции, чтобы обеспечить теоретическую основу для исследования. Кроме того, был рассмотрен вопрос о том, почему проблема иммиграции стала «интернационализированной». Проанализированы показатели миграции в странах БРИКС за последние 20 лет и определены наиболее активные миграционные коридоры стран БРИКС. Более того, была проанализирована миграционная политика стран БРИКС. Также было проанализировано влияние COVID-19 на международную миграцию и выявлены слабые-сильные стороны и возможности-угрозы международной миграции. Наконец, была изучена миграционная структура ЕС и исследована ее применимость к БРИКС. В результате проведенного исследования автор пришел к некоторым выводам. По мнению автора, подчеркивалось социологическое измерение миграции и игнорировалось измерение международных отношений. Кроме того, установлено, что международное значение миграции возросло. Во-вторых, установлено, что все страны БРИКС тесно связаны с проблемой международной миграции и имеют активные миграционные коридоры. В результате исследования установлено, что одни страны БРИКС успешны, а другие нет. Определено, что структура БРИКС и участие стран БРИКС в проблеме международной миграции необходимы для того, чтобы они имели авторитет в международном сообществе.

In this thesis, the participation and approaches of the BRICS countries towards the problem of international migration are analyzed. The first reason for the author's interest in the problem of international migration stems from the increasing importance of international migration. The concept of migration has a history as old as human history and affects societies socially, economically, politically, historically, religiously and culturally. As a result of technological developments and the internationalization of information since the beginning of the 21st century, people have access to information faster and the size of migration has increased because of this interaction. Secondly, the problem of international migration directly or indirectly affects the domestic and foreign policies of states due to its political, economic and social consequences and causes various crises between states in the international arena. Last but not least, the point that the author draws attention is that migration shifts from the field of social sciences to the field of politics. Therefore, the author aimed to transfer the problem of international migration "from the field of sociological discussion to the field of discussion of the international relations". The problem of international migration, which is a contemporary phenomenon, must be analyzed in the context of BRICS countries and BRICS union. Therefore, author made a comprehensive analysis of international migration theories to provide a theoretical framework for the research. In addition, the question of why the migration problem has become “internationalized” was examined. The migration figures in the BRICS countries in the last 20 years were analyzed and the most active migration corridors of the BRICS countries were underlined. In addition, the migration policies of the BRICS countries were analyzed. In addition, the effects of COVID-19 on international migration were analyzed and identified the weaknesses-strengths and opportunities-threats of international migration. Finally, the EU's migration structure was examined and its applicability to BRICS was investigated. The author made to some conclusions as a result of his research. According to the author, the sociological dimension of migration was emphasized and the international relations dimension was neglected. In addition, it has been emphasized that the international importance of migration has increased. Secondly, it has been underlined that all BRICS countries are closely related to the international migration problem and have active migration corridors. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that some BRICS countries are successful and some are unsuccessful. It has been determined that the BRICS structure and the BRICS countries' participation in the international migration problem is essential for them to increase prestige in the international community.
