Features of political bias in contemporary Russian cinema

Abstract

Объектом исследования в данной работе является российский кинематограф. Анализ фильмов направлен на рассмотрение явления политической ангажированности и выделения основных черт, присущих политически ангажированному кино в РФ. В работе рассматриваются аспекты культурной политики России в сфере кино, теории воздействия кинематографа на зрителя, а также анализируются игровые и документальные фильмы.

Конечная цель работы заключается в выявлении черт политической ангажированности в кино рассматриваемого периода. Данная проблема актуальна в современном дискурсе, потому что на данный момент вопрос взаимосвязи кино современной России с политикой страны слабо изучен исследователями.

The object of study in this project is contemporary Russian cinema. Analysis of films refers to the review of the phenomenon of political engagement and to the highlighting the main features of the political engaged cinema of Russia. This project examines the cultural aspects of Russian policy in the field of cinematography, the theory of cinema impact and, besides, analysis of documentaries and fictions.

The main goal of the thesis is to identify the turns of political engagement in the contemporary Russian cinema. This problem is relevant in today's discourse, because for today the question of the interdependence between Russian cinema and the policy of the country almost was not examined by researchers.
