Ivory and antler working on the Early Upper Palaeolithic industry of Kostenki 14, layer IVb

Abstract

Целью работы является изучение бивня и рога как ресурса в раннюю пору ВП на примере комплекса К14–IVb. Особенности производства бивневых и роговых изделий в верхнем палеолите на территории Евразии исследовались на памятниках Восточной Европы.Работа состоит из пяти глав, заключения, методического аппарата, таблиц, а также приложений, включающих альбом иллюстраций, словарь терминов.

The aim of the work is to study the tusk and horn as a resource in the early period of the VP on the example of the K14–IVb complex. The peculiarities of the production of tusk and horn products in the Upper Paleolithic on the territory of Eurasia were studied on the monuments of Eastern Europe.The work consists of five chapters, conclusions, methodological apparatus, tables, as well as appendices, including an album of illustrations, a dictionary of terms.
